The "Series 2A" thermocouples are heavy-duty metallic pipe protected thermocouples with an 90� elbow. These thermocouples are available in simplex only and can be made in ISA Thermocouple Types "T", "J", "E", "K", and "N". Wire gauge ranges from 20 AWG to 8 AWG depending upon the protection tube dimensions and thermocouple type. A wide variety of protection tube materials are available, for more information see our chart. A weather-proof screw cover terminal head is offered in either Cast Iron or Cast Aluminum, or you may choose a screw down cover "General Purpose" Cast Iron head.
