The "Series 2M" thermocouples are heavy-duty metallic pipe protected thermocouples. These thermocouples can be simplex or duplex in ISA Thermocouple Types "T", "J", "E", "K", "N", "S", "R", and "B". Wire gauge ranges from 24 AWG to 8 AWG depending upon the protection tube dimensions and thermocouple type. A wide variety of protection tube materials are available, for more information see our chart. Also, these assemblies are usually supplied with a mounting bushing (either carbon steel or stainless steel, sizes range from 1/4" NPT to 2" NPT). The screw cover terminal head can be either Cast Iron, Cast Aluminum, Nylon®, or "General Purpose" Cast Iron.
