This wire type thermocouple is available in ISA Thermocouple Types "T", "J", and "K". The wire is housed in a protective 316 SS tube with the thermocouple junction grounded to the tube hot end. Insulation is normally Fiberglass or Teflon®, but other options are available as well. The cold end can have split leads (with or without spade lugs, a BX connector is optional) or a standard plug/jack or a mini plug/jack for connecting to instrumentation.
